Tara Prayer Flags are Fair Trade, hand made by Tibetan Nuns Project. The five flags feature the image of Tara and traditional prayers printed in Tibetan script. The flags are each 7.5 x 6.5 inches and are attached to a 5-foot long string. Traditionally Tara flags are hung to ask for her blessings and to overcome obstacles. Tara is the Goddess who grants all wishes, the Bodhisattva of compassion.
Hand made by the Tibetan Nuns Project, founded in 1987, to provide housing, education, healthcare and freedom of religious practice for hundreds of Tibetan nuns fleeing persecution in Tibet.
